Medfield is a tight knit suburban community about 17 miles southwest of Boston, Massachusetts. It was first settled in 1649 after splitting from the town of Dedham and is currently home to 12,024 residents. Many riveting attractions such as Hinkley Pond, the centuries-old Peak House, and multiple prosperous restaurants including Avenue; Nosh & Grog; and Basil can be found in Medfield.


Medfield is also known for its superior academics and athletics. The 2018 US News and World Report declared Medfield High School to be the 7th best public high school in Massachusetts. Medfield High is also home to the 2016 Boys Ice Hockey Champions and a dominant Boys Lacrosse team, which has won state championships 8 times in the past 14 years.

  • $30,000 for a suicide awareness campaign in Medfield

  • $95,500 from the Baker-Polito Administration Municipal Small Bridge Program (Includes Philip St. bridge)

  • Part of the negotiating team fighting for the release of Medfield State Hospital from the State to the Town

  • Sustainable Materials Recovery Program (SMRP) grants from Mass. Dept. of Environmental Protection

  • $70,000 for the design and planning of improvements to the Route 27/West Street intersection

  • $30,000 for the Medfield State Hospital technical assistance planning study
